MERLYMPICS is a unique Event that brings people from all over the world, in the fascinating world of the Mermaidings to immerse yourself and celebrate the sporting Competition. The participants will be able to make in a variety of disciplines their skills and creativity.
A Central part of the MERLYMPICS the Integration and inclusion of all people. Regardless of age, gender, national origin, or physical abilities are welcome to participate and share your passion for Mermaiding. The event promotes a strong sense of community and celebrates the diversity of the international Mermaid/Merman Community.

Die ursprünglichen „Merlympics" wurden von Normeth Preglo Parzhuber, Direktor der IMSIA (International Mermaid Swimming Instructors Association), ins Leben gerufen. Dieser Wettbewerb für Meerjungfrauen und Meermänner begann 2015 in Deutschland und hat in den letzten Jahren viel Anklang und Interesse geweckt. Von den Merlympics in Deutschland bis hin zu den Merlympics in England sind die Teilnehmerzahlen stetig gestiegen.
